The Outdoor Club takes annual trips to the Boundary waters and is taking its first ever trip to Puerto Rico.
The boundary waters is a protected wilderness area. On this trip students learn how to camp in the wilderness, navigate using topographical maps, and they learn life lessons about the beauty of our environment and how important it is to protect it.
Puerto Rico is small, but it has many types of ecosystems. This trip will highlight some of its ecosystems and students will hopefully leave with a better understanding of how important all of earth's ecosystems are and why we need to protect them.
